So yesterday I heard rumors about new TMNT wrestling figures dropping, right? Just had to get my hands on ’em early. Rolled out of bed around 10, made some coffee, and hit the web hard. Started digging through my usual toy forums and seller groups. Took forever scrolling through junk posts.
The Hunt Begins
First thing? Decided to check eBay listings. Typed “WWE TMNT Series 2” real slow, fingers crossed. Boom! Found one seller with grainy photos already posted. Screen looked like a potato took it. Zoomed in… yep, new Donnie gear! Head sculpt looked way sharper than Series 1. Got hyped.

Refreshed Twitter next. Searched hashtags like #WWEtmntleaks. Scrolled past fifty posts about Pizza Hut collaborations before hitting gold. Some dude posted blurry pics straight from the factory floor. Saw Raph with new bandana colors holding a steel chair. Leo’s mask was ripped too. Details looked sick.

Biggest surprises?
- Mikey with a chain weapon. Never saw that coming!
- Splinter holding a championship belt. Old man’s still got it!
- Shredder wrestling boots. Looks mad funny.
Hands-On Impressions
Tracked down a local shop owner who got stock early. Drove twenty minutes through traffic honking horns. Walked in sweating. Boxes were stacked near the register. Ripped one open right there. Plastic smell hit me hard.
Checked joints first. Donnie’s elbows were stiffer than Series 1. Tried posing him holding nunchucks. Wrists kept popping off. Annoying. Leo’s leg kick? Perfect balance. Didn’t even need the stand. Mikey’s chain felt cheap though. Thin plastic. Bet it snaps quick.
Facepalm moment
Noticed the paint apps looked rushed. Raph’s bandana lines bled outside the edges. My OCD kicked in big time. Used a toothpick to scratch off extra paint. Worked kinda okay but left tiny marks. Packaging was crazy tight too. Wrecked the box corners pulling Donnie out. Collectors gonna cry.
Final Thoughts
Overall? Hyped for Leo and Donnie upgrades. Mikey’s chain gimmick feels cheap. Splinter as champ? Freakin’ hilarious. Play features over quality every time with these lines. Just wish they fixed the wrist joints. Still bought all four. Got lazy with poses halfway through. Threw ‘em on the shelf squished together. Looks like a turtle pileup. Worth it.
