Alright, alright, lemme tell ya what’s what in this wrestlin’ world. They call it “WWE Rumor Roundup,” sounds fancy, but it’s just folks gabbin’ ’bout what might happen. You know, like us at the market, but with more muscles and spandex.
So, they talkin’ ’bout Jade Cargill. Big, strong gal, she is. Heard whispers she’s gonna do somethin’ big. They always sayin’ that, though. Remember last time? All that fuss, and then…nothin’ much. Hope this time’s different, she’s got the look, that’s for sure. Got arms like my old plowin’ horse, Bessie. God rest her soul.
And then there’s this Roman Reigns fella. Always hearin’ ‘bout him. Seems like he’s always the big cheese, winnin’ all the time. Some folks say he’s gonna lose his belt, others say he’s gonna hold it forever. Me? I just wanna see a good fight. Don’t care who wins, long as they give it their all. Like that time old man Johnson fought the bull at the county fair. Now that was a fight!
They talkin’ ‘bout Becky Lynch too. They call her “The Man.” Don’t get that, she’s clearly a woman. But she’s tough, I’ll give her that. Fights like a cornered cat. They sayin’ she might leave, or she might stay. Contracts and such. Sounds like when the bank was tryin’ to take my farm. All that paperwork, made my head spin. Luckily, my boy Jed fixed it all. Smart kid, he is.
- Royal Rumble surprises? They always sayin’ that. Someone’s gonna show up, they say. A big star, a legend. Last time, it was…who was it? Oh, I can’t remember. Too many names, too many faces. But it’s always fun to guess. Like tryin’ to guess the weather. Usually wrong, but still fun.
- CM Punk drama? Now that fella’s always stirrin’ up trouble. Talkin’ too much, fightin’ too much. Reminds me of my cousin Billy. Always got into scraps at the bar. But he had a good heart, Billy did. Just a bit…wild.
- Finn Balor push? He’s a good-lookin’ boy, that Finn. But can he fight? That’s what matters. They say they’re gonna give him a chance to be the top dog. We’ll see. Talk is cheap, as they say.
And Hulk Hogan? He’s still around? Thought he was too old to be wrasslin’. Guess they need someone to bring in the old timers like me. And The Rock? He’s more of a movie star now, ain’t he? Always smilin’ and posin’. But he can throw a punch, I’ll give him that. Remember seein’ him wrestle years ago, made the whole place shake.
Then there’s this Alexa Bliss girl. They sayin’ she’s comin’ back. Been gone a while, had a baby. Good for her. Knows what’s important in life. Family first, that’s what I always say. But wrasslin’? That’s a tough business for a mama. Hope she’s ready.
You know, it’s all just a show, they say. Like them soap operas on the TV. But them wrestlers, they still get hurt. Seen it happen. Big falls, broken bones. It ain’t all fake, no sir. Takes a lot of guts to do what they do. Just like farmin’. Hard work, long hours, and sometimes you get kicked in the teeth. But you keep goin’. That’s life.
So, that’s the latest gossip. Take it with a grain of salt, like my old pappy used to say. Tomorrow, it’ll all be different. That’s the way it goes. But it’s fun to talk about, ain’t it? Gives us somethin’ to do besides watch the chickens peck at the dirt.
