This is me talking about WWE Raw. It’s that wrestling show, you know? Big guys all muscled up, jumping around in the ring. It’s something to watch, I guess.
RAW PREVIEW
That Raw, it’s on the TV tonight. They say it’s taped, whatever that means. It’s from some garden in Boston. Must be a fancy place. They got all these wrestlers, you know. My grandson, he watches it all the time, yelling at the screen.
I heard Raw is two hours, that’s a long time. It’s through the end of the year. Then I hear it will move to some “Netflix”. Is that some new channel? These young folks with their newfangled words. Then it’s gonna be on Mondays at 7 or 8 o’clock, I don’t know the difference. On that USA Network thing.
This week’s WWE Raw, they say it’s after some “NBC” thing. Something called “Saturday Night’s Main Event”. Sounds important. Was it a big fight? My grandson probably knows. He keeps up with all that wrestling stuff. They say it was a huge night, with major somethings. I don’t understand all that, but it sounds exciting, I reckon.
What to expect from WWE Raw
They got this WWE Raw episode, and they’re saying it’s gonna be thrilling. What does that even mean? Is someone gonna jump off the roof? They say fans can expect things. I expect it to be loud, just like my grandson when he watches it.
Oh, and there’s some other thing. “Backstage Reaction”. Is that like when they show you what happens after they finish fighting? Sounds like a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’. And then some “Massive WWE” something or other. What’s so massive about it? Did someone eat too much pie?
CM Punk and WWE
Then I see this name, CM Punk. Is he one of them wrestlers? I don’t know all their names. There’s just so many of them. They all got those fancy names, like they’re some kind of superheroes or something. Maybe he’s the one who ate all that pie. He’s a big deal I guess, always seeing his name around this WWE Raw.
They go on and on about this CM Punk and WWE. Is he new? Is he old? I can’t keep up. They talk about him like he’s the king of wrestling or something. My grandson, he probably has a poster of him on his wall. Kids these days and their idols.
- That CM Punk, he must be strong.
- They say he’s part of that WWE Raw thing.
- I wonder if he’s got a wife.
- Does he eat his vegetables?
Wrestling is something
This wrestling, it’s quite a spectacle. All those folks watching, cheering, and carrying on. It’s like a big party, but with more punching. I don’t know if I’d want to be in that ring, though. Looks like it hurts.
They got all those ropes and that big square ring. And the way they bounce off those ropes, it makes my head spin. How do they not get dizzy? And the outfits, my goodness! All shiny and tight. Not my style, but I guess it works for them.
These wrestlers, they’re like actors, I suppose. They got their characters and their stories. It’s like a soap opera, but with more muscles. And they’re always yelling and making faces. It’s all very dramatic. I guess that’s what people like about it.
Sometimes they have those tag teams, two guys fighting together. That’s a bit more interesting, I suppose. More people to watch. And sometimes they have those big events, like that “Saturday Night’s Main Event” thing. Those are a big deal, I hear. Everyone gets all excited about those.
It’s all a show, I reckon
This WWE Raw and all that wrestling, it’s all just a show, isn’t it? They plan it all out, who’s gonna win, who’s gonna lose. It’s like a play, but with more sweat. But people love it, I guess. They get all invested in these characters and their stories.
It’s a way to escape, I suppose. Forget about your troubles and watch these big guys throw each other around. It’s entertainment, that’s for sure. And it’s been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right.
So, this WWE Raw preview, it’s just telling you what’s gonna happen on the show. Who’s gonna fight who, what the big storylines are. It’s like a little sneak peek. If you’re into that sort of thing, I guess it’s helpful. Me, I’ll just wait for my grandson to tell me all about it. He’s better at explaining these things anyway.
I guess this Raw thing is kind of a big deal. Lots of people watch it. It’s all over the TV and that internet thing. It’s just a lot of noise to me, but to each their own, I suppose. As long as they don’t start wrestling in my living room, I don’t mind.
