Well now, I tell ya, this here “WWE 2K19 AJ Styles Tower” business ain’t no walk in the park, no sir. Back in the day, folks used to talk ‘bout how you could go through a whole bunch of hard matches just to get yourself a gold AJ Styles. But let me tell ya, it ain’t as easy as it sounds. The thing about this tower is, it ain’t just about fightin’ folks, it’s all about what they call “the stakes.” You see, them matches don’t go easy on ya. You gotta beat 15 of ‘em in a row! Fifteen! And your health, well, it don’t come back by itself neither.
Now, some folks say the tower had a bit of a glitch, messin’ with their reversals and such. They’d be doin’ fine, and next thing ya know, the game wouldn’t let ‘em reverse a thing, and the A.I. would pull off moves like it’s got some kind of special cheat code. Ain’t that somethin’? It sure felt like they made it extra hard ‘cause of them big ol’ rewards at the end. And trust me, you’ll need all the help you can get, ‘cause this tower is tough.
The real kicker here is that if you want to unlock that fancy gold AJ Styles, ya better get through it all in one go. Ain’t no rest for the wicked, I reckon. If ya take a break or mess up, you gotta start all over again. That’s right, from the very beginnin’. Some folks say it’s a test of patience, but I’d say it’s a test of how long you can stand to watch your own health bar shrink down to nothin’ while the A.I. is throwin’ punches like it’s got somethin’ to prove.
Now, don’t get me wrong, this here tower challenge was mighty popular at one point. People were all talkin’ about it, sayin’ it’s one of the toughest things in the game. But, come to find out, them servers for WWE 2K19 and 2K20 shut down a while ago. Yup, shut down on June 30th, and with it, they cut out all them online matches and community features. So now, you can’t even try to take on the AJ Styles Tower like you used to, ‘less you’re playin’ it offline, of course. You can still go at it, but you might miss out on them rewards and online glory.
But if you ask me, it’s a real shame that they stopped supportin’ them older games. I mean, folks still loved that AJ Styles Tower, even if it made ya pull your hair out. But hey, if you got the game on your PS4 or Xbox, you can still play some of the modes, even without them fancy online features. Ain’t no way around that unless you’re willin’ to deal with the challenge on your own.
All in all, if you ever get the chance to try this tower, don’t go in thinkin’ it’s gonna be a breeze. It’s tough, it’s long, and it’ll make you wanna toss the controller out the window. But if you stick with it and push through, well, you just might walk away with that shiny gold AJ Styles and a sense of pride that you done made it through somethin’ mighty difficult. So, give it a shot, but don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
Important Note: As of June 30th, 2023, the servers for WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20 are shut down, meaning online features, including the AJ Styles Tower, may no longer be accessible unless played offline.
