My Hunt for NFL Scrub Tops
Okay, so I wanted to talk about something a bit different today. It’s about finding some NFL scrub tops. Yeah, you heard that right. I spend a lot of time in scrubs, you know, the usual routine. But things can get a bit monotonous, wearing the same solid colors day in, day out. And I’m a big football fan, always have been. So, I got this idea: why not combine the two? Find some scrub tops with my favorite NFL team on them.
So, the search began. First place I looked? Just typed it into the big search engines online. Lots of stuff popped up, mostly fan jerseys and regular t-shirts, not actual scrubs. It took a bit of digging, changing my search words around, like “NFL medical scrubs” or “football team scrub top”.

I found a few online stores that specialized in medical uniforms. That seemed like a better path. Some had dedicated sections for licensed apparel, which was promising. Found it wasn’t always straightforward though. Some sites only had a handful of the really popular teams. My team? Took a bit more clicking around.
Then I thought, maybe I should check locally. Went down to a couple of those big uniform warehouses near me. You know the ones, walls and walls of scrubs. Asked the folks working there. One place looked at me like I had three heads. The other one actually knew what I was talking about! They didn’t have a huge selection in stock, maybe three or four teams, but it was a start. At least I knew they actually existed in the physical world.
Back to the online search I went, feeling a bit more confident. I eventually landed on a site that seemed to have a pretty decent range. They had tops, some had matching pants but I wasn’t really looking for a full set, just the top. They had different styles too, V-neck, sometimes a print pattern, sometimes just the logo embroidered.
Making the Choice and Getting Them
Alright, decision time. Found my team. They had a couple of options. One was a bit loud, like the whole shirt was a pattern. The other was simpler, solid color with the team logo on the chest pocket. I went for the simpler one. Seemed more appropriate for my workplace, you know? Still showed my team spirit without being too distracting.
Putting it in the cart was easy enough. Sizing was my next worry. Scrub sizing can be all over the place, right? One brand’s large is another’s medium. I checked their size chart, measured one of my current good-fitting tops, and picked the size that seemed closest. Crossed my fingers and hit the order button.
Shipping took about a week, pretty standard. Package arrived, tore it open like a kid on Christmas morning. First impression? The material felt decent, pretty much like my other work scrubs. Not too thin, not too stiff. Tried it on. Big sigh of relief – it actually fit well. Maybe just a touch looser than my usual, but comfy, which is key when you’re wearing it for hours.
Wearing Them Out
Wore it to work the following week. It was kinda fun, actually. Got a few comments right away. Some colleagues who are also fans gave me a nod or a “nice shirt!”. A few others asked where I got it. Even had a patient or two notice and strike up a conversation about football, which was a nice little icebreaker.

- Felt comfortable all shift.
- Washed up well afterwards, no major shrinking or fading yet.
- Definitely added a bit of personality to the workday uniform.
So, that was my little adventure into the world of NFL scrub tops. Took a bit of searching, but I found what I was looking for. It’s a small thing, but wearing something that shows off a bit of my personality and interests makes the daily grind just a little bit better. If you’re a fan and wear scrubs, maybe give it a look. Just gotta do a little hunting first.
