Okay, so today I decided to check out what all the fuss was about with Wabash tennis. I’d heard some people talking about it, and you know me, I love trying new things, especially sports-related stuff.
First, I tried to find some info online. I mean, where else do you start these days? I typed in “Wabash tennis” and scrolled through a bunch of stuff. Most of it was about the college team, which, you know, wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to know how I could get involved, maybe find a local group or something.

So, I dug a little deeper. I added “local leagues” and “community” to my search terms. That helped a bit! I found a few mentions of tennis clubs and parks in the area that might have programs. It wasn’t super clear, but it was a start.
My Next Steps
- I made a list of a couple of places that looked promising.
- I decided to call them up tomorrow and see what they offer. Maybe they have beginner lessons or casual groups.
- I figured, worst-case scenario, I could just show up at a court and see if anyone’s around looking for a game. It’s a bit old-school, but hey, it might work!
Honestly, it’s a little frustrating that it’s not easier to find clear information. You’d think there’d be a central website or something for local sports. But I’m not giving up! I’m determined to give this Wabash tennis thing a shot. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Wish me luck!
