Okay, so I was messing around today and I thought it would be cool to put together a list of the best football walkout songs. You know, the ones that really get the players and the crowd pumped up before a match.
I started by just thinking about all the football games I’ve been to or watched on TV. What songs do I remember hearing as the teams come onto the pitch? I jotted down a bunch of them, like whatever came to mind first.
Then, I did a little digging online. I wanted to see what other people thought were the best walkout songs. I hit up some football forums, some fan sites, and even checked out a few official team pages to see if they had anything listed.
After I had a pretty good list, I started narrowing it down. I got rid of the ones that were kind of obscure or didn’t really have that “big game” feel. I wanted songs that were instantly recognizable and got your blood pumping.
Then I went through and listened to each song a few times. I tried to put myself in the shoes of a player walking out onto the field. Which songs made me feel like I was ready to run through a wall? Those were the ones that made the cut.

I ended up with a pretty solid list. It’s got a good mix of classic rock anthems and some more modern stuff, too. All in all, it was a fun little project. I think I might even make a playlist out of these songs for the next time I watch a game.
