Okay, so I wanted to make a list of some of the most famous golfers in history. I’ve always been a bit of a golf fan, so I figured, why not put my interest to good use?
First, I opened up my web browser. You know, the usual starting point for any kind of research these days. Then I typed in “famous golfers in history” into the search bar. I hit enter, and boom, tons of websites popped up.

I started clicking through some of the top results. Mostly, they were articles or lists from sports websites. I skimmed through a bunch, jotting down names that kept appearing. You know, the ones that were practically on every single list.
My Process
- Started with a broad search.
- Checked multiple sources. Because, you know, gotta be thorough.
- Make sure I was not only relying on the articles.
- Focused on names that were consistently mentioned.
After about, I don’t know, maybe an hour or so of doing this, I had a pretty solid list. I made sure to include golfers from different eras, not just the recent ones. It felt more complete that way. I was pretty happy with how my list turned out!
