Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to see this “Day of Reckoning” boxing match for a while now. It’s this huge event in Saudi Arabia with Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, two big names in the boxing world. I kept seeing ads for it, and it looked like a must-see, you know?
So, I did a little digging. First thing I checked was how to watch it. Turns out, I could get it on DAZN, which is cool, ’cause I already have a subscription there. They said it’s a pay-per-view thing, which means an extra charge on top of the usual subscription. In the UK, it’s like 19.99 pounds, and it’s also available on TNT Sports Box Office. The prices are different all over the place, you know, but DAZN is the main way to see it.
Then I looked into the details of the event. It’s got eight fights, but everyone’s talking about the two main ones: Anthony Joshua vs. some guy, and another big one. The whole thing starts at 4 p.m. UK time, which is 11 a.m. Eastern Time. The main event, the one everyone’s waiting for, is supposed to start around 10:30 p.m. UK time, or 5:30 p.m. ET.
Getting the Tickets
Now, about the tickets. I went to this website, I found someone talked about it, and they had all kinds of prices. Started at 100 SAR for the basic seats, then 200 SAR, 700 SAR, all the way up. I ended up getting some in the middle range, didn’t want to go too crazy but also wanted a decent view, you know?
There were some people online saying the whole thing’s rubbish, and the fighters aren’t fighting the right opponents. Someone mentioned a fight card with Wilder, Parker, Joshua, and Wallin, and that the pay-per-view prices were reduced. Tickets supposedly went on sale today, but I’m not sure about all that.
Anyway, I got my tickets. Feeling pretty good about it. It’s gonna be a long wait until the event, but I think it’ll be worth it. I’ll probably keep checking for updates and stuff, maybe watch some old fights to get hyped up. That’s my plan for now, getting ready for this big “Day of Reckoning” boxing night!
