Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, or MLBB for short. It’s one of those 5v5 MOBA games, you know, the kind where you pick a hero and try to smash the other team’s base. Anyway, I wanted to figure out which heroes are, like, the best right now, so I started digging around.
First, I checked out when the latest patch came out. Seems like it was patch 1.9.32, and it dropped on November 6th, 2024. Then there’s this other thing called the “Peerless Light Update” which went live on December 18th, 2024. Gotta keep those dates in mind because, you know, patches change things. Heroes that were awesome can suddenly become “meh,” and vice-versa. It’s wild.
Next, I started looking for tier lists. Basically, these lists rank all the heroes from strongest to weakest. Found a bunch of them, but some were pretty old, like from way back in August 12, 2022. Those are no good. Gotta find the fresh stuff, so I focused on the ones updated after the latest patches, like December 15th, 2024 and October 15th, 2024.
So, I’m going through these lists, and it’s a lot of info. They break it down by hero roles, which is handy. You got your:
- Marksmen – these guys are your ranged damage dealers.
- Mages – they’re the spellcasters, slinging magic all over the place.
- Tanks – big, beefy heroes that soak up damage.
- Fighters – they’re kinda like a mix of damage and tankiness.
- Assassins – sneaky types that jump in, burst down a target, and get out.
- Support – they, well, support the team with heals, shields, and crowd control.
After comparing a few lists, I started noticing some patterns. Certain heroes kept popping up at the top, no matter the source. These are the ones I’m gonna focus on for now. It’s not just about picking the “best” hero, though. You gotta think about how they fit into a team, their strengths and weaknesses, and all that jazz.
What I’ve Done So Far
I’ve made a list of the heroes that seem to be consistently strong across different tier lists. Now I’m gonna actually play them. Gotta get a feel for how they work, you know? Reading about them is one thing, but actually using their skills and seeing how they perform in matches is another.
This is where it gets fun. I’ll be jumping into games, trying out different heroes, and seeing what works. I’ll probably mess up a lot, and that’s okay. It’s all part of the process. I’ll keep notes on each hero, how they feel to play, what strategies seem to work best, and maybe even some cool plays I manage to pull off.
This whole thing is a work in progress. I’m no pro or anything, just a regular dude trying to get better at the game. Hopefully, by sharing my experience, someone else out there can learn a thing or two. Or maybe they’ll just laugh at my noob mistakes. Either way, it’s all good.
It’s gonna be a grind, but hey, that’s how you get good at these things. I just hope I don’t get too salty when I inevitably get wrecked by some pro player. Wish me luck, folks. I’m gonna need it. Let’s see if I can actually climb the ranks with these “top tier” heroes, or if I’m just destined to be stuck in the lower ranks forever. Time to put these tier lists to the test!
