Alright, listen up, y’all. So, you wanna ditch your team in that there MLB The Show 24, huh? Want a new bunch of fellas to play ball with? Well, it ain’t as easy as yellin’ at the TV, I tell ya. Back in my day, you just played where they put ya, but these youngins, always wantin’ somethin’ different.
First off, this here game, it ain’t like them old ones. Used to be, you could just holler at your agent, tell him you’re unhappy, and boom, you’re packin’ your bags. But in this here MLB The Show 24, they done changed things up. No more easy peasy way to ask for a trade, nope.
Now, some folks say you can call your agent. Yeah, you can do that, but it ain’t whenever you want. It’s like waitin’ for the rooster to crow, it happens when it happens. Your agent, he’ll call you up maybe once or twice a year, in one of them fancy cutscenes, you know, like in a movie. And then, maybe then you can say you want out. But it ain’t guaranteed, mind you.
- So, go to the main menu in that Road to The Show thingy.
- Then, find where it says interactions, you know, talkin’ and such.
- Look for somethin’ about your agent, and click on it. If he’s callin’, you’re lucky. If not, well, you gotta wait, like waitin’ for rain in a drought.
Some fellas, they say you can act like a real pain in the neck to your manager. You know, be disrespectful and all that. Go to the interactions part in Road to The Show, and there’s supposed to be a trade request thing there. But from what I hear, it ain’t always there. Seems like some folks find it, some don’t. It’s like lookin’ for a four-leaf clover, might get lucky, might not.
Now, the truth is, it seems like you’re mostly stuck. Unless the team decides they don’t want your sorry butt no more, you ain’t goin’ nowhere. You gotta ride it out, like a bumpy wagon ride. Hope and pray they decide to trade you, or else you’re just gonna have to suck it up and play ball.
It ain’t fair, I tell ya. These youngins got it too easy these days, with their fancy video games and all. Back in my day, you played where they told ya, and you were grateful for it! But that’s how it is, I guess. Just gotta keep playin’, keep hopin’, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get traded. Or maybe you’ll just have to learn to love the team you’re with. That’s what I always say, make the best of what you got.
So to recap, and keep it simple, ’cause I ain’t got all day. You might get a chance to talk to your agent if he calls you, and you might find a trade request option if you act like a fool to the manager. But most likely, you’re stuck like a fly in honey. Just gotta keep playin’ and hope for the best. That’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
And don’t go cryin’ to me if you can’t get traded. I told you how it is, it ain’t my fault the game is made this way. Now go on, get back to playin’ that there baseball game.
