Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell ya ’bout this here “MLB The Show 23 WBC” thingamajig. Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer or nothin’, but I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, so I figured I’d share what I know, the way I know how.
So, from what I gather, this “WBC” thing, it’s like a big ol’ baseball get-together. Kinda like when all the cousins come over for a barbecue, ‘cept this time it’s countries playin’ ball ‘stead of folks eatin’ ribs. And they put it in that there video game, “MLB The Show 23”. My grandson, that young whippersnapper, he’s always playin’ them games, makin’ all sorts of noises.
Anyways, they got this “Diamond Dynasty” thing in the game, see? It’s like collectin’ cards, ya know? Like when you used to get them baseball cards in bubblegum packs, ‘cept these here are on the computer or whatever. And now, they got these WBC cards, with all them fancy players and their jerseys. You can open packs and try to get lucky, or you can go and buy ’em from some auction thingy, if you got enough of them coin things. Sounds like a whole lotta work if you ask me, but them young’uns, they love it.
Now, where do they play these games? Well, they got a few places. Some in Miami, that’s down in Florida where it’s always hot. Then there’s Houston, over in Texas, another hot place. And they play some in Puerto Rico, on that there island, and way over in Tokyo, Japan. That’s a long ways away, I tell ya. Must be nice to travel all over like that, playin’ ball and whatnot.
This here WBC thing, it’s the first time they got all the big-league players from all over the world playin’ together like this. So, you got fellas from all them different countries, wearin’ their country’s colors and all, playin’ their hearts out. It’s a real sight to see, or so I hear. I ain’t seen it myself, mind you, but my grandson, he showed me some pictures. All them fellas runnin’ around, swingin’ bats, throwin’ balls. Reminds me of when the kids used to play in the field after chores were done, ‘cept these fellas are gettin’ paid big bucks for it, I reckon.
- First thing you gotta know is this “Diamond Dynasty” mode. That’s where you get them cards and build your team.
- Then, there’s the jerseys. All them countries got their own fancy jerseys, and you can get ’em for your team.
- And don’t forget about the places they play. Miami, Houston, Puerto Rico, and Tokyo. That’s a lot of flyin’ around, if you ask me.
- Last but not least, it’s the first time all them big-league players from all over are playin’ together like this. That’s a pretty big deal, I guess.
So, that’s the gist of it, y’all. This “MLB The Show 23 WBC” thing, it’s a baseball game with a bunch of countries playin’. You collect cards, you get jerseys, and you watch ’em play all over the world. It ain’t my cup of tea, but if you like baseball and them video games, then you might just enjoy it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talkin’ about baseball made me hungry.
And lemme tell ya somethin’ else, them folks over there in, what was it, “Com os inmeros destaques e memrias que os fs receberam do WBC.” Yeah, somethin’ like that. My grandson tried to tell me, sounded like jibberish to me, but it’s somethin’ about fans and how much they loved this whole thing. Guess they made a bunch of memories, which is nice, I suppose. Like when we used to go to the county fair, all them years ago. Them were good times.
