Well, howdy there folks! Let me tell ya somethin’ about these here baseball parks, the places them fellas play ball. You know, the MLB. Big stadiums, they are. Lots of ’em all over the place. Thirty of ’em, I heard tell.

Now, I ain’t never been to most of these places myself, mind you. Too busy with the chickens and the garden, you see. But I heard stories, seen pictures on that there TV thing. They got these maps, you know, showin’ where all the stadiums are. Handy things, I reckon. Helps folks find their way, if they’re goin’ to a game or somethin’. Like lookin’ at a map to find the feed store, only bigger and with more pictures of baseballs, ya follow?
Some of these stadiums are old, real old. Like that Fenway Park up in Boston. Been there since nineteen-twelve, they say. That’s a long time, even for an old gal like me. Imagine how many games they played there, how many hot dogs they sold. Must be a heap of ’em.
Then they got new ones too. Fancy ones. Like that Globe Life Field in Texas. Opened up just a few years back. Bet it’s got all the bells and whistles, you know, big screens and comfy seats. Not like the old days, I’d wager. Back then, you probably sat on a wooden bench, and if you were lucky, you had a cushion, and you’d better bring your own snacks, though maybe they sold peanuts in little brown bags.
Stadium locations, that’s what we’re talkin’ about, right? Well, like I said, there’s a map for that. A fancy map that shows you everything. It shows ya where each team plays. Like in New York, they got two teams, not far from each other. The Yankees and the Mets. Heard they’re rivals, like the Hatfields and McCoys, but with bats and balls instead of shotguns, though sometimes, I hear tell, the fans get a little rowdy.
And they got stadiums all over, from Arizona to, well, everywhere pretty much. Each one’s different, I guess. Some are big, some are small. Some are in the city, some are out in the country. But they all got one thing in common: baseball. That’s the game, right? The one with the hittin’ and the runnin’ and the catchin’.

- Some stadiums have roofs, some don’t. Keeps the rain out, I reckon, or the sun if it’s too hot.
- Some are real expensive to go to. Diamondbacks, they say, are the cheapest, though cheap still costs a pretty penny.
- And some places, like that Coors Field, they say the ball flies further. Don’t ask me how, that’s just what I heard. Maybe it’s the thin air, like up in the mountains, or maybe it’s just strong fellas hitting the ball real hard.
Anyways, if you want to know where all these stadiums are, you gotta look at that map. It’ll show ya. Addresses and everything. Interactive, they call it. You can click on it and zoom in and out. Fancy stuff, I tell ya. But it gets the job done. Tells ya where to go if you want to see a ball game.
Me, I’m happy just watchin’ on TV. Less travelin’, and the snacks are cheaper, plus ya got your own comfy chair. But if you’re one of them adventurous types, go ahead and check out that map. See where them MLB stadiums are. Maybe you’ll even go to a game or two. Just remember to bring your peanuts…and maybe a cushion for that hard seat!
And one last thing, don’t go bettin’ your life savings on a game, ok? It’s just a game, for fun. Enjoy yourself, eat a hot dog, and cheer for your team. That’s what it’s all about.
