Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this MLB season simulator thing, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride. I’ve always been a huge baseball fan, and the idea of simulating an entire season just sounded awesome to me.
First, I found this simulator online – I think it was called WhatIf Sports or something like that. It looked pretty legit. I signed up for the thing and started poking around. It’s got all these options to set up your own team, manage players, and all that good stuff.

I spent a good chunk of time just creating my team, picking players. I wanted to create some real powerhouse players. This one pitcher I made? I pumped up his stamina like crazy. The description said something about “how many pitches he can throw before he gets tired” and “higher stamina means more decisions.” So, naturally, I made him a pitching machine. Then I focused on his “stuff” stat, which is apparently how much the ball moves and all that. I wanted him to throw some wicked curveballs, you know? I did the same for my batters, focusing on power and speed.
After creating my dream team, I started simulating some games. This thing called “Broken Bat” was like an online management game, and it was part of the experience. It was wild seeing how the computer used my players, making decisions based on all those stats I had set. The games themselves were simulated using some “advanced algorithms” and “artificial intelligence,” according to the site. Pretty fancy stuff, but honestly, I just liked seeing my super-pitcher strike everyone out.
I even tried simulating whole seasons, watching my team go through the ups and downs of a full MLB schedule. It was a bit addictive, to be honest. I kept tweaking my players, trying to build the perfect team. I spent hours just messing around with the simulator, seeing what would happen if I changed this or that.
In the end, it was a fun experience. I’m not sure how realistic it all was, but I got to live out my fantasy of being a baseball manager for a little while. And let me tell you, creating those record-breaking players was a blast. If you’re a baseball fan, you might get a kick out of it, too. Just be prepared to lose a few hours of your life messing around with it!
