Okay, so I got this idea the other day to make a map of all the Major League Baseball parks. I’m a huge baseball fan, and I thought it would be a fun project. Plus, I’ve always wanted to do a baseball road trip, so this could be a good way to plan it out. I started by looking up a list of all the MLB teams and their stadiums. Turns out there are 30 of them, which is a lot! They’re all over the place, from New York to California, even up in Minnesota.
I figured I could use some kind of online tool to create the map. First, I gotta make a list of all the stadiums. So I’m going team by team, looking up each stadium name and address. It’s a bit tedious, but hey, it’s for baseball, right? For example, the Arizona Diamondbacks play at Chase Field. I found its location easily, just searching it up on a map.

After I got the info, I started inputting each stadium location. Now I can see all the stadiums marked on the map. It’s actually pretty cool to see them all spread out like that. This will be a useful tool to plan my ultimate baseball road trip adventure from coast to coast to watch America’s favorite past time.
I also added some extra info for each stadium. For example, I’ve read that the new MLB BallPark Pass-Port is just like an official U.S. Passport, letting fans validate every ballpark they visit. I added a note about that, and I might put in some other fun facts later. It’s really shaping up, and it’s making me even more excited for a potential baseball road trip.
The map is all done now! It looks pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. It’s got all 30 MLB stadiums marked, with their names and some extra info. Now I just gotta figure out how to share this thing. Maybe I can post it on my blog or something. Anyway, this was a really fun project, and I learned a lot about the different MLB stadiums. Now, who wants to go on a road trip?
