Alright, let’s talk about this baseball thing, the… uh… “MLB dynasty rankings” for 2024, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but I reckon it’s just about which teams are good and gonna stay good, right?
So, like, the people who know about this stuff, they keep changing their minds, always updating their lists. They got these “overall dynasty rankings” and “keeper rankings.” Sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me. Keepers? Like, they keepin’ the players locked up or somethin’? Anyways, they update this stuff regular-like, so you gotta keep your eyes peeled.

Then there’s this fella, Eric Cross. He’s got his own list, a “top 100 dynasty rankings” for that fantasy baseball game. Now, I don’t know nothin’ ‘bout fantasy baseball, but sounds like you pick players and if they do good, you win. He updated his list in October, so that’s probably the most up-to-date one. He says these are the top players to get for your team if you wanna win for a long time. He’s also got a list for the young fellas, the “prospects” he calls ‘em. Updated that one in July. Guess those are the ones to watch out for in the future.
So, what makes a team a “dynasty” anyway? Well, from what I hear, it means a team that’s good, real good, for a long time. Like, winnin’ championships, not just once or twice, but over and over again. They say a team needs to win at least three championships in, say, six or seven years to be called a dynasty. That’s a lot of winnin’!
Now, I ain’t gonna sit here and pretend I know all these baseball teams. There’s a bunch of ‘em, and they all got funny names. But I reckon some of them are better than others, right? And some of them got young players, them “prospects,” that are gonna be good someday.
- So, if you’re playin’ this fantasy baseball, you wanna get them good players, the ones that are gonna stick around and help you win for a long time. That Eric Cross fella, he probably knows what he’s talkin’ about. He’s got his lists, and people seem to listen to him.
- But remember, things change. A player can be good one year and then get hurt or just not play so well the next year. That’s why they keep updatin’ them lists all the time. It’s a lot to keep track of, I tell ya.
- And them “dynasties,” they don’t last forever. Teams get old, players retire, and new teams come along. That’s just the way it is. So, even if a team is good now, there’s no guarantee they’ll be good in a few years.
So, who’s gonna be good in 2024 and beyond? Heck if I know! But I reckon the teams with the good young players, them “prospects,” have a better chance. And the teams that are already winnin’, well, they probably got a good thing goin’ on. You just gotta keep an eye on things and see how it all plays out. Baseball’s a long season, and a lot can happen. It ain’t like churnin’ butter, where you know what you’re gonna get every time.
Anyways, that’s my two cents on this “dynasty” business. It’s all about winnin’, and winnin’ for a long time. And to do that, you need good players, both now and in the future. So, keep an eye on them lists, and may the best team win!
One more thing, don’t go bettin’ the farm on this stuff. It’s just a game, remember? Just like them chickens out back, sometimes they lay eggs, sometimes they don’t. You can’t always predict what’s gonna happen.
