You wanna know ’bout them Jewish owners in the NFL, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, there’s a few of ’em, runnin’ them football teams. Big shots, ya know? Rich fellas. They got their hands in that big ol’ football pie.
That NFL, it’s a big deal. Lots of folks watchin’, lots of money flowin’. These Jewish owners, they part of that. They ain’t playin’ on the field, nah, they up in them fancy boxes, makin’ the big decisions. Who to hire, who to fire, you know that sort of stuff. Like the boss at the factory, only the factory is a whole football team.

Now, I heard tell there’s this fella, David Tepper. He owns the Carolina Panthers. Some team down south, they say. Got ’em in 2018, I reckon. Must be a smart guy to own a whole football team. Got money, that’s for sure. You gotta have a lot of that to be an owner in the NFL. It ain’t cheap, no sir. Like buyin’ a whole herd of cattle, only more expensive.
And then there’s other folks, too. Names I don’t rightly recall, but they’re out there. These Jewish fellas, they in all sorts of businesses. Some in real estate, some in finance. But they all got one thing in common: they love that football. And they got the money to be a part of it. It’s like a big club, the NFL. Gotta pay to play, even if you ain’t the one wearin’ the helmet.
So, why they do it? Why these rich Jewish owners buy into the NFL? Well, I reckon it’s a few things. First off, it’s a good investment. Them teams, they worth a lot of money. And they keep goin’ up in value, like land back in the day. Buy low, sell high, that’s what they say, right?
Plus, it’s gotta be fun, ownin’ a football team. Like bein’ king of your own little kingdom. You get to be around all them athletes, all that excitement. It’s a whole different world than, say, runnin’ a grocery store or fixin’ cars. It’s glamorous, I suppose.
And maybe, just maybe, it’s about somethin’ more than just money and fun. Maybe these Jewish owners, they see it as a way to be a part of somethin’ big, somethin’ American. Football, it’s like apple pie and the Fourth of July, right? It’s part of the fabric of this country. And by ownin’ a team, they get to be a part of that, in their own way.
It is a big thing, that football. Back in my day it was different. There is this one guy, placekicker, I think his name is Greg Joseph. He is from South Africa. And he is Jewish, playin’ in the NFL. That’s somethin’.
- David Tepper – Carolina Panthers
- Someone named Glazer – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I think
- Another fella, name of Kraft – New England Patriots. That’s a good team, huh?
- Stephen Ross is another big shot, he bought the Miami Dolphins.
- And there is Daniel Snyder, he owns the Washington Commanders.
You know, out of all those teams in the big leagues, only a handful got Jewish owners. But they are there, makin’ their mark. The NFL it’s a big deal, like I said. From what I heard, there are 147 teams in the five major North American pro sports leagues. And a good chunk of ’em in the NFL got Jewish folks at the top. It’s a big thing. It’s like, you got your farmers, your teachers, your doctors… and then you got your NFL owners. It takes all kinds, I reckon.

I’m no expert, mind you. Just hear things here and there. But it seems to me like these Jewish owners, they’re doin’ alright for themselves. They found a way to make their money work for ’em, and they found a way to be a part of somethin’ they love. That is football and the NFL. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it? It’s the American dream, or somethin’ like that. Work hard, make money, buy a football team. Only in America, I guess.
They are just like you and me. They start small. Work their way up. Like that David Tepper fella. He started close to home, worked hard, and now he owns a whole NFL team. The Carolina Panthers. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Just goes to show, you work hard enough, you can achieve anything. Even ownin’ a football team. These Jewish owners, they’re a testament to that. They are like the rest of us. Just got a little more money in their pockets, I reckon. And a whole lot more football.
Well, there you have it. That’s all I know about them Jewish owners in the NFL. It ain’t much, but it’s somethin’. Hope it helped ya understand things a little better. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go see about my stories. They ain’t gonna watch themselves.
