Now, you got an agent, right? That fella who calls ya now and again? Well, when he does, that’s your chance. Tell him you wanna git outta there, you want a “change of scenery” as they say. But don’t be expectin’ it to happen overnight. Patience is key, like waitin’ for the crops to grow.
- Talk to your agent: When he calls, tell him you wanna be traded.
- Be a pain: Act like a jerk to your manager, maybe they’ll get tired of ya.
Another thing you can do is make it clear you ain’t stayin’ put. If your contract’s runnin’ out, and you ain’t signin’ back on, the team might try to trade ya ‘fore you walk away for free. But that ain’t a guarantee, mind you. They might just let ya go and be done with ya.
