And her mama, Amber Liu, she’s a former tennis player too, so it runs in the family, you could say. Both of ’em know a thing or two about tennis, and now it looks like they passed that talent down to their little girl, Lani.

Now, I don’t know much about these fancy rankings and all, but I do know that when someone gets to No. 2 in the world, they know their stuff. Michael Chang did that, and you can bet he’s passin’ all that knowledge down to his little girl. And from what I hear, Lani’s been workin’ hard, makin’ improvements and gettin’ better every day. She’s only 13, but she’s already got a future in tennis if she keeps on goin’ like this.
