Okay, so I’ve been hearing about this Jameson Links Golf thing for a while now, and it finally got the better of me. I decided to give it a shot, literally.
First things first, I had to gather my buddies. You can’t just go golfing alone, can you? It’s a social sport, after all. Plus, I needed someone to witness my potential greatness, or at least laugh at my inevitable failures.

So, I rounded up the usual suspects, booked a tee time at our local course, and made sure everyone had their clubs ready. Now, the crucial part – we had to grab a bottle of Jameson. I mean, it’s called Jameson Links Golf, right? No Jameson, no deal.
We hit the course, and let me tell you, it was a beautiful day. Sunny, not too hot, just perfect for some golfing action. We started playing, and it was the usual mix of good shots, bad shots, and a whole lot of laughter.
Then came the moment of truth – the Jameson part. We decided to incorporate the whiskey into the game. Now, there’s no official rulebook or anything, so we just made up our own rules as we went along. You know, like, take a sip after every birdie, or maybe chug if you land in the water hazard. Sounds fun, right?
Our Rules
- Birdie: Everyone else takes a sip
- Par: You get to take a sip
- Bogey: Take two sips
- Double Bogey or more: Finish the bottle! Just kidding. Take a bigger sip
It was all in good fun, of course. We made sure to keep it responsible and focused on enjoying the game. Let’s just say the scores got a little… interesting after a few holes.
All in all, it was a great day out. Good friends, good golf, and a bit of Jameson to spice things up. I’d definitely recommend giving Jameson Links Golf a try, even if you just make up your own rules like we did. It’s a great way to add a little extra fun to your regular golf game. Just remember to drink responsibly, and don’t take it too seriously. It’s all about having a good time, after all.
So yeah, that was my experience with Jameson Links Golf. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, and perhaps we’ll even come up with some new, crazier rules. Who knows?
Later!
