Now, I ain’t no expert, but from what I gather, this boy’s a safety, plays real good on defense. He’s standin’ tall at 6’2″ and weighs about 218 pounds—big for a safety, huh? Ain’t many players that size got the speed and quickness like him.
Now, the folks down in Wisconsin been talkin’ a lot about him. He was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team in 2023. That right there tells ya he’s got some real talent. I heard some scouts say he’s one of the top safeties to keep an eye on for the 2025 NFL Draft. Now, I’m just a simple ol’ country woman, but it seems to me if they’re sayin’ he’s in the top ten safeties, well, that’s a big deal.
Hunter’s been puttin’ in the work, and in 2023, he really broke out. Played good in the box and also deep, always in the right place at the right time. It’s somethin’ they say is key for a safety – bein’ able to read the game and adapt. He’s been doin’ just that. He got a good head on his shoulders and plays with some real passion. Now, some folks say he could be one of the first safeties off the board in 2025, but we’ll see. Nothin’ for sure till that draft day comes.
His story is a good one, too. He’s from Muskego, Wisconsin, which ain’t far from here. Ain’t no surprise that a boy from a small town can make it this far. Folks from places like that got grit. They work hard, and that’s what he’s been doin’—workin’ hard every single day. Ain’t no shortcut to success, and Hunter knows that. He’s been playin’ his heart out for Wisconsin and showin’ everyone what he’s made of.
Now, as for the draft, it’s all up in the air right now. They say he’s got a good chance to go high, but a lot can happen between now and then. Things like injuries, how he performs in his final season, and even what other teams are lookin’ for. But from what I’ve seen, this boy’s got the tools. He’s got the size, the speed, and the smarts to make it big in the NFL.
If you ask me, I’d say Hunter Wohler is a name to remember. He’s got a real shot at the NFL, and if he keeps his head on straight, we might be seein’ him on Sundays real soon. It’s folks like him that make you proud, showin’ that hard work and dedication can get you far, no matter where you come from.
