Okay, so I’ve been grinding on MLB The Show 24, and let me tell you, this Egg Hunt thing is a whole different beast. I jumped in totally blind, not knowing what to expect. First off, I started scouring all the menus, looking for anything that said “egg.” Nothing. Then I figured it had to be hidden somewhere in Diamond Dynasty, since that’s where all the special programs are.
I spent hours, I mean hours, playing different modes within Diamond Dynasty. Conquest, Showdown, even messed around in Ranked Seasons thinking maybe that was the key. I started to find some egg-voucher things, but they were all over the place. I collected a few from Conquest. It felt like I was finding these clues to a puzzle, but I didn’t even know what the puzzle was supposed to look like.

Getting Warmer
After a while, I realized that certain moments in the game were giving me these egg vouchers. I started paying closer attention to the objectives in each mode. Like, in one of the Conquest maps, I noticed that stealing fans on a certain difficulty was a requirement to get another egg voucher. It felt like a scavenger hunt within a scavenger hunt.
Putting the Pieces Together
- Egg 1: Finally found it tucked away in the Starter Showdown. Felt like such a noob for missing that one earlier.
- Egg 2: Got this one by completing the entire USA Conquest map. Took some time, but hey, I enjoy a good grind.
- Egg 3: This one involved some classic moments. The one from completing the nation of baseball conquest map.
- Egg 4: Had to beat the Orioles on All-Star difficulty in a “Play vs CPU” game. Not gonna lie, that one gave me a little trouble.
- Egg 5: Exchanging some players.
- Egg 6: Playing some event games.
- Egg 7: Beat the “Egg Hunt” showdown.
- Egg 8: Win 10 games in ranked season.
- Egg 9: Win some Battle Royale games.
- Egg 10: Beat the “Egg Hunt” conquest map.
After more trial and error, I figured out I needed to put these egg vouchers into the “Egg Hunt” program. And bingo! That’s where the real rewards were. I started unlocking packs, players, all sorts of good stuff. It was such a relief to finally understand how it all worked.
Man, it took a lot of experimenting and just plain old playing the game to finally crack the code. But let me say this: finishing the Egg Hunt was super satisfying. It’s definitely a grind, but if you’re up for the challenge, the rewards are worth it. Just be prepared to spend some serious time in Diamond Dynasty!
