Okay, so, I wanna share my little adventure with Haverford tennis. It all started when I stumbled upon this info about The Haverford School, an all-boys, independent school around Philly. I thought, “Hey, might be a good spot to get involved in some tennis.”
So, I dug a bit deeper and found out that the Haverford College Athletics is located at 370 Lancaster Avenue, Haverford, PA. Their phone number is 610-896-1117, in case you wanna ring ’em up. They even have a fax number, 610-896-4220, which is kinda old school, but hey, whatever works.

Getting Started
First thing I did was try to find their schedule. I saw they had a scoreboard that mentioned something about a baseball game against Dickinson. My focus was on tennis, though, so I kept looking.
- Visited their facility: I actually went down to their location. It’s pretty neat, and they have some top-notch tennis facilities.
- Checked out their stats: I managed to find some statistics. Looks like they played 41 games in total, 18 of which were conference games. They had 1407 at-bats, 662 of those in conference games, and scored 325 runs, with 160 in conference games. Not sure how much this applies to tennis, but it’s something, right?
My Experience
I couldn’t find a direct way to join the tennis team, but I did see that the Haverford Soccer Club is huge in Pennsylvania. I’m not much of a soccer guy, but it tells me they’re serious about sports there. It’s all located in Havertown, Pa, which is pretty convenient.
Anyway, I reached out to them, asking about tennis. The response was kinda vague, but they did mention their “premier tennis facilities and longstanding” something or other. I guess it’s a work in progress to get more involved.
I also tried to log into what I thought was their website, but it turned out to be a general Squarespace login page. So, that was a dead end.
In the midst of all this, I stumbled upon some random flashcards about binary format and CodePlex. Totally unrelated, but hey, that’s the internet for you. Then, I found this weird quote about understanding the enemy’s tactics and something about a python. Honestly, I have no clue how that fits into my tennis quest, but it was a wild ride.
Wrapping Up
So, yeah, that’s my story about trying to get into the Haverford tennis scene. It’s been a bit of a mixed bag, with some promising leads and some totally random stuff. I’m still figuring it all out, but hey, that’s part of the adventure, right? If anyone’s got the inside scoop on Haverford tennis, hit me up! I am still trying to get more involved in the Haverford tennis stuff, so any tips are welcome. This whole journey’s been a bit all over the place, but that’s what makes it fun, I guess.
Anyway, that’s my little update. Stay tuned for more, maybe I will crack the code and make it to the tennis team. Peace out!
