Okay, here’s my take on sharing my experience with figuring out the ic norcom football schedule. It was a bit of a journey, let me tell you!
So, it all started a few weeks ago. My kid was bugging me about when the Norcom football games were. Said he wanted to go and hang with his friends. Of course, I’m like, “Okay, cool…but I need the schedule.” Figured it would be easy enough to find online.

First thing I did was just Google it: “ic norcom football schedule.” Seemed straightforward, right? Got a bunch of links, but a lot of them were either outdated or just not what I was looking for – you know, like general sports news sites that mentioned Norcom but didn’t actually have the schedule. Frustrating!
Then I thought, “Okay, maybe the school website.” So I navigated to the IC Norcom High School website. Finding the actual athletics section was a pain in itself – buried in some menu dropdowns. When I finally got there, the football schedule was…missing! Seriously? Just a blank page with the heading “Football Schedule.” Epic fail.
After that, I tried the district’s website. Same deal, only worse. The site was even more clunky and difficult to navigate. I swear, these school websites are designed to make parents’ lives harder.
Next up, I figured I’d check some local news sites. You know, the ones that cover high school sports in the area. That led me to a few articles about past games, but still no complete schedule. They usually just highlight the scores and maybe mention the next game, but not the whole season.
Getting desperate, I decided to hit up social media. I searched for “IC Norcom Football” on Facebook and Twitter. Found a few fan pages and groups. Scrolled through them for a while, and finally, bingo! Someone had posted a picture of a printed schedule that they got at the school. It was blurry, but I could make out most of the dates and times.
To double-check, I reached out to a friend whose kid actually plays on the team. She confirmed the schedule and even sent me a clearer picture of it. Finally! Victory!
So, the final schedule (as of right now, because you know these things can change) looks like this:

- Game 1: Sept 8th vs. Some Other School
- Game 2: Sept 15th vs. Another School
- Game 3: Sept 22nd vs. Yet Another School
- …and so on…
(I’m not going to list all the games, because I don’t want to get anything wrong, and also because who has time for that?)
Lessons Learned
Moral of the story? Finding a high school football schedule shouldn’t be this hard! School websites need to up their game. And social media can be a surprisingly useful tool, especially if you know the right people. I swear, sometimes it feels like you need to be a detective to figure out simple things these days. At least my kid’s happy now.
