Okay, here’s my take on the “6’6 small forwards in the NBA” topic, written in the style of a personal blog post:
So, I got into this kinda random rabbit hole the other day – 6’6″ small forwards in the NBA. It all started when I was watching some highlights and noticed a player who seemed kinda, well, average height-wise, but was still listed as an SF. Got me thinking, who are the dudes holding it down at that height?

First, I did what any normal person would do. I pulled up a search on my old, trusty laptop. I typed in “6’6 small forwards NBA” and boom, a bunch of names popped up. Some I knew, some were like, “Who?”
Digging Deeper
Then I started making a list. It was messy at first, just scribbling names on a notepad. I wanted to see the range, you know? See if there were any patterns. Are these guys mostly benchwarmers? Are any of them stars? Just trying to get a feel.
- Used website to get a preliminary list of players.
- Checked each player’s official height (you’d be surprised how often those are off!).
- Started looking at their stats – points, rebounds, assists, all that jazz.
I spent a good chunk of time on different basketball sites, just browsing player profiles. Some guys I recognized immediately, others I had to look up more info on. I found some guys who used to be listed at 6’6″ but are now taller, some guys who might be slightly shorter, but we’ll let it slide for the sake of my little project.
It was kinda cool seeing the variety. I found some older players, some current stars, and even a few rookies who fit the bill. My list was getting pretty long, so I moved it to the note on my phone. I had to organize it somehow, right?
The Results (Sort Of)
What did I learn? Well, 6’6″ isn’t some magic number, obviously. There’s a wide range of talent at that height. Some guys are all-stars, some are role players, and some are just trying to stick in the league. It’s a reminder that height is important, but it’s not everything. Skill, smarts, and hustle matter just as much, if not more.
Honestly, it was more about the process than the final list. I enjoyed the “research,” even though it wasn’t exactly groundbreaking. It’s just a fun way to kill some time and learn a little something new about the game. And, it’s kinda inspiring to see how different players make it work at that height. Maybe I’ll do power forwards next, who knows!
