Okay, so I’ve been meaning to upgrade my Muay Thai gear, and I finally decided to get some new shorts. I went with Fairtex, because, well, they’re Fairtex! Everyone knows they make quality stuff.
Getting Started
First, I spent ages just browsing. There are so many designs, it’s crazy! I was really tempted by some of the flashier ones, with dragons and cool patterns, but I ended up going for something a little more classic – solid black with the Fairtex logo.

The Search
- I checked out a few online stores.
- I compared prices. (Gotta get a good deal, right?)
- I read some reviews to see what other people thought about the fit and durability.
Making the Choice
After all that, I placed my order. I made sure to double-check the size chart, because I didn’t want to deal with returns. I’m usually a medium in most things, but I noticed some reviews said Fairtex shorts can run a little small, so I went with a large, just to be safe.
The Wait…and Arrival!
The waiting was the hardest part! It only took a few days, but I was super excited. When the package finally arrived, I ripped it open right away.
First Impressions
They looked great! The material felt really nice and lightweight, and the stitching seemed solid. I tried them on, and the large was definitely the right call. They fit perfectly – not too tight, not too loose, with plenty of room to kick.
Putting Them to the Test
Of course, the real test was using them in training. I wore them to my next Muay Thai class, and I was super happy with them. They were so comfortable, and I didn’t feel restricted at all when I was throwing kicks or knees. The wide leg openings are amazing. My old shorts sometimes rode up, but these stayed put.
I have been using them for a few weeks now, and they are holding great.
I can tell that my choice is correct!
