Okay, so I got into this Fairtex boxing thing a while back. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’d always been kinda curious about boxing, but never really took the plunge. Then, a buddy of mine kept going on about this Fairtex gear and how it’s the real deal. I was like, “Alright, alright, I’ll check it out.”
First thing I did was hit up a local gym that had a bunch of Fairtex bags. I figured I’d see what the fuss was about. Man, those bags were solid. I’d used some other brands before, but these were different. I started with some basic jabs and crosses. I felt a difference right away. The bags had this nice give, but they were also super sturdy. I didn’t feel like I was gonna break my hands, which is always a plus.

Then I got my hands on some Fairtex gloves. These things were snug. Like, really snug. But in a good way. They wrapped around my hands perfectly. I started doing some drills with the trainer, and that’s when I really started to see what Fairtex was all about. I was throwing hooks, uppercuts, you name it. The gloves felt like an extension of my own hands.
I decided to grab a pair of Fairtex shin guards too. I wasn’t sure if I needed them, but the trainer was like, “Trust me, you’ll want these.” He was right. I was getting into some sparring, and those shin guards were lifesavers. I was kicking, getting kicked, and the impact was absorbed. I hardly felt anything, which made sparring way more fun.
Now, I’m pretty much hooked. I’ve been training regularly, and I’m always using Fairtex gear. I bought my own heavy bag for home, and it is also a Fairtex. I started with simple workout drills like, one-two combos, double jabs and some basic footwork practices. I really wanted to build up my endurance and see how much I could push myself.
- I started each session by wrapping my hands carefully.
- Then, I put on my Fairtex gloves, making sure they were tightened properly.
- I began with a warm-up, shadow boxing for about five minutes to get my muscles loose.
- Next, I moved to the heavy bag.
- I worked on basic punches for the first few rounds – jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts.
- I focused on my technique, making sure my form was good and my punches were landing correctly.
- After that, I started incorporating kicks.
- I practiced roundhouse kicks, focusing on hitting the bag with my shin, not my foot.
- I mixed in some knee strikes as well.
- Between rounds, I did some active recovery, like jumping jacks or jogging in place.
- I gradually increased the intensity and duration of my rounds.
- I made sure I stayed hydrated, taking sips of water between rounds.
- I ended each session with a cool-down, doing some light stretching to prevent muscle soreness.
I feel stronger, faster, and way more confident in my boxing. It’s not just about the gear, obviously, but having the right equipment definitely makes a difference. Fairtex has become my go-to. It’s tough, it’s comfortable, and it just feels right. So yeah, that’s my Fairtex story. It’s been a good one so far, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here.
