Okay, so I wanted to make this little NBA nickname quiz, just for fun. Nothing too fancy, you know? I’m a big NBA fan, and I always get a kick out of the players’ nicknames. Some are pretty obvious, like “The King” for LeBron James, but others are a bit more obscure.
Getting Started
First, I brainstormed a bunch of NBA players and their nicknames. I jotted down all the ones I could think of, from the old-school legends to the current stars. I ended up with a pretty long list. I figured I should narrow it down to make the quiz a manageable length.
Making the Choices
I decided to stick with maybe 20 or so nicknames. I wanted a good mix of well-known and not-so-well-known ones to make it a bit challenging. So, I went through my list and picked out the ones I thought would be the most fun. For example, I definitely included “Chef Curry” for Stephen Curry because it’s just so perfect.
Putting It Together
Next, I needed to figure out how to actually make the quiz. I’m not a coder or anything, so I just used a simple online quiz maker. I typed in each nickname as a question, and then I added a few different player names as multiple-choice answers. I made sure to shuffle the answers around so it wouldn’t be too easy.

Test Run
Once I had it all set up, I took the quiz myself a few times to make sure it worked okay. I also wanted to see if it was too easy or too hard. It seemed like a good level of difficulty, so I was happy with it.
Sharing It
Finally, I shared the quiz with some of my friends who are also NBA fans. They had a good time with it, and it sparked some fun debates about the origins of certain nicknames. It was cool to see people enjoying something I had put together, even if it was just a silly little quiz. It is also a good way to test your skills of matching nicknames with NBA players.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty straightforward. It was just a fun little project to do in my spare time. And who knows, maybe I’ll make another quiz sometime, maybe about something other than the NBA, I just wanted something to test my knowledge.
