Okay, so today I decided to dive into the Duke football program and their NFL draft history. It’s something I’ve been meaning to check out for a while, and I finally got around to it.
First, I opened up my browser. I wanted to get a general overview, so I did a broad search. This gave me a bunch of articles and some official Duke athletics pages.

Digging into Recent Drafts
I then focused on the more recent NFL drafts. You know, the last 5-10 years. I figured that would give me a good sense of Duke’s current program and the types of players they’re sending to the pros.
I started making a list. I jotted down the player names, their positions, the year they were drafted, and the NFL team that picked them.
Looking at the Positions
- I noticed a few offensive linemen.
- There were also some defensive players, like a couple of linebackers and defensive backs.
- I checked to see if there were any quarterbacks.
Cross-Referencing Information
I wanted to be sure I had everything right, so I cross-referenced my list with a couple of different websites. It’s always good to double-check your info!
Putting It All Together
After I felt confident in my data, I started thinking about how to organize it. Maybe I’ll create a simple table or something. But for now, I have a solid list of Duke football players who’ve made it to the NFL in recent years. It was an enjoyable experience to be able to look up what I wanted to know.
