Alright, let’s talk about these big hats MLB fellas wear, you know, the baseball players. I seen ’em on TV, them fellas got some big heads, I tell ya! Always wondered how they find hats that fit, must be a real chore.
Now, I heard tell that some fella named Bochy, he’s a big deal in baseball, wears a size 8 and 1/8 hat. That’s a big ol’ hat! They say it’s one of the biggest ever. Can you imagine? They even had to repaint his old helmet when he got traded, ’cause they didn’t have one big enough! Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me.
These hats, they call ’em 59FIFTY, or somethin’ like that. Everywhere you look, them baseball players, and even other sports fellas, wearin’ ’em. They got a little gold sticker on ’em, seems like everyone knows what that means. Fancy, I guess, but it’s just a sticker to me.
And get this, they even got special hats for when they honor the military folks. Camo-lookin’ hats and socks, they wear ’em on that special day. It’s nice, I guess, showin’ respect and all. But them hats, they still look big.
I saw this other fella, Brian Robinson, he had a “big-hat moment,” they called it. Seems he ran real good in a game and got himself a hundred yards. First time he ever done that. So, they made a big deal about his hat. Don’t rightly know why the hat matters so much, but that’s what they said on TV. Maybe it’s good luck, like them rabbit’s feet some folks carry.
Seems like there’s a lot of folks with big heads needin’ big hats. They been makin’ ’em since way back in 1996, big size hats for big heads. Can you believe it? All sorts of teams, MLB, college teams, everyone wants a hat that fits, I reckon.
- They got all sorts of teams, like I said. Every team you can think of.
- And they ain’t just for the players, you know. Regular folks can buy ’em too, if they got a big head, or just wanna look like them baseball fellas.
There’s this company, New Era, been around for a hundred years, they make these hats. They say they’re the “online hat store” for MLB. Sounds important, all these fellas sellin’ hats, makin’ a livin’, I guess.
So, if you got a big head, or you just like them baseball hats, you know where to go. They got plenty of ’em, big as you want, seems like. Me? I’m happy with my little sun hat, keeps the sun outta my eyes just fine. But them fellas, they need them big hats. Guess that’s just how it is.
Heck, I never thought there was so much to say about hats! Big ones, little ones, seems like everybody wears ‘em, especially those MLB fellas. Big heads, big hats, big deal, I suppose. But at the end of the day, it’s just a hat, ain’t it? Keeps the sun off your head and maybe, just maybe, brings a little luck to them baseball players.
And that’s all I gotta say about these big hats MLB fellas wear. More than enough, if you ask me.
