Just the usual Pidgeys and Ratatas. Decided to walk toward the main plaza where I usually see lures. Stopped at two PokéStops to spin them dry for supplies:

Getting Tips From Other Trainers
Saw a bunch of folks clustered near the fountain – obvious trainers tapping their screens. Walked over and just straight-up asked, “Hey, anyone spot Sunfloras today?” This dude in a Team Valor hat said they’d seen Sunkerns spawning more after 10 AM near botanical gardens lately. Another girl mentioned checking park trails with sunny clearings. So I changed plans and drove out to Riverbend Gardens.
Finally Finding Sunflora Spots
Got there around 10:30 AM – bam, two Sunkerns popped right at the entrance gate! Used Pinap Berries on both to double candy. Walked deeper into the rose garden section where there’s zero shade, and sure enough:
- A wild Sunflora spawned near the sunflower patch (fitting!)
- Second one showed up near the cactus greenhouse 10 mins later
- Even got a cloudy weather boost on one catch

Aftermath and Tips
Ended up with three Sunfloras by noon! Also noticed they’re way more likely to spawn in open grassy areas when it’s sunny in-game. My big takeaways?
