Okay, so I got this idea the other day. My office wall, the one behind my monitor setup, felt super bland. Just plain white paint. Needed some energy, you know? And I thought, what’s got more energy than Dragon Ball Z? A tapestry seemed like the way to go. Easy to hang, big impact.
Finding the Right Vibe
So, I started looking around. Man, there are a LOT of DBZ tapestries out there. Like, tons. You got your classic Z fighters lineup, specific sagas like Cell or Buu, individual characters doing their signature moves… it was kind of overwhelming at first.

I spent a good bit of time just clicking through different designs. Some were just too much, like explosions everywhere, way too chaotic for my workspace. Others looked kinda low quality, you could tell the print would be fuzzy.
Here’s what I was looking for:
- Something iconic, instantly recognizable.
- Good artwork, clear lines.
- Not overly crowded.
- Decent size to actually fill some space.
Making the Choice and Getting it Done
After maybe an hour or two spread over a couple of days, I landed on one. It was a pretty classic shot – Goku, Super Saiyan form, powering up. You know the one. It had that intense look but the background wasn’t too crazy. Simple, strong, felt right.
Ordered it up. Then came the waiting part. Always the worst when you’ve decided on something and just want it there, right? Felt like checking the tracking every five minutes, haha.
It finally arrived in one of those plastic mailer bags. Pulled it out. First impression? Material was okay, pretty standard thin polyester, kinda what you expect for these things. The print quality was actually better than I thought it might be. Colors looked good, lines were sharp enough.
Hanging it Up
Now for the hanging part. I didn’t want to put big holes in the wall, so nails were out. I grabbed some of those sticky command strip things, the ones made for posters or lightweight stuff. Cleaned the wall spot first, waited a bit like the instructions said.
Holding it up to figure out the exact position took a few tries. You know how it is, step back, look, adjust, step back again. Wanted it centered over the monitors. Got the sticky strips on the corners of the tapestry, pressed them onto the wall real good.

The Final Look
And there it is. Honestly? It looks pretty cool. Totally changed the feel of that wall. Adds a nice pop of color and, yeah, that DBZ energy I was after. It’s not like, fine art or anything, but it does the job. Makes the space feel a bit more mine. Every time I glance up from work, I get a little jolt of nostalgia. Simple fix, big difference. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
