Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my hands on the Richards football schedule, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I figured, “Hey, it’s the 21st century, everything’s online, right?” Wrong!
First, I did what anyone would do – I googled it. I tried “Richards football schedule,” “Richards High School football,” “Richards Bulldogs football”… you name it, I searched it. I got some random results, old schedules, and links to sites that looked like they hadn’t been updated since the early 2000s. It really not a smoothy start.

Then I thought, “Okay, maybe their school website has it.” So, I found the official Richards High School website. I clicked around on the athletics section, looked through a bunch of different sports pages, and… nothing. Seriously, nothing. Maybe my eye sight went wrong, I don’t know.
Next, I tried social media. I figured a school would put something that important on their Facebook or maybe even Twitter. I searched for “Richards High School” and “Richards Bulldogs” on both platforms. I scrolled through posts about bake sales and student council meetings, but no football schedule. It’s disppointing.
Feeling a little defeated, I almost gave up. But then I remembered! Local newspapers! Sometimes they have the most up-to-date info on high school sports. So, I went to the websites of a couple of local newspapers in the Richards area. I checked their sports sections, and… bingo!
There it was, the full Richards football schedule, neatly laid out in a little table. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was exactly what I needed. And then, I copy the table and saved it to my files.
So, after all that, the simple answer was the local paper’s website. Who knew? Sometimes the old-fashioned way is still the best way.
It’s a good experience to share, hope it helps.
