Alright, so I’ve been meaning to get back into tennis, and I heard about the Dubai Tennis Club. Figured I’d give it a shot and document the whole experience. Here’s how it went down:
Finding the Place
First things first, I had to actually find this place. I’m not super familiar with all the areas in Dubai, so I did a quick search. Found their location, not too far from where I usually hang out. Seemed easy enough to get to.

Checking Out the Facilities
Once I got there, I just walked in, you know, to scope things out. I wanted to see what the courts looked like, if they had a decent pro shop, and what the general vibe was.
- Courts: Looked pretty good! They seemed well-maintained, which is a big plus for me. Nothing worse than playing on a cracked, uneven surface.
- Pro Shop: Checked out the pro shop next. Decent selection of gear, though I wasn’t planning on buying anything just yet. Always good to know it’s there if I need something in a pinch.
- Other Stuff: Saw they had a gym area and a cafe. Didn’t spend too much time checking those out, but it’s nice to know they’re available.
Getting on the Court
Next up, finding a court.
I asked about booking a court, and the staff was pretty helpful. Explained the different options, like whether I wanted to book for an hour, longer, or become a member.
I ended up deciding play for a few hours.
Post-Game Wrap-up
After the match, I cooled down a bit. Grabbed a drink at the cafe, nothing fancy, just something to rehydrate.

Overall Thoughts
Honestly, it was a good day. The Dubai Tennis Club seems like a solid place to play. Courts were in good shape, the staff was friendly, and it had everything I needed. If I keep up with the tennis, I might even consider becoming a member. We’ll see how it goes!
