Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “Dragon Ball Tokyo” things pop up all over the internet, and I was like, “What’s the deal?” I’m a huge Dragon Ball fan, so naturally, I had to check it out myself. Turns out, it’s not one specific thing, but more like a bunch of cool Dragon Ball stuff happening around Tokyo. So, I did some digging and planned a little adventure.
My Dragon Ball Tokyo Mission
First things first, I needed a plan. I googled and scrolled through a few websites, looked at some maps, and kinda got a general idea of where to go. My main goal was to find some cool photo spots, grab some merch, and maybe, just maybe, feel like I was in the Dragon Ball world for a little bit.

My first stop had to be Akihabara. I mean, it’s Akihabara, right? It’s like the mecca for all things anime. I hopped on the train, and bam, I was there. The energy was insane! So many shops, so many lights, so much…stuff! I wandered around, popping into random stores. I found a few Dragon Ball figures, some keychains, you know, the usual touristy stuff.
Finding the Goods
- I hit up a few of the big stores, like Animate and Mandarake.
- They had a decent selection, but honestly, it was kinda overwhelming. So many figures!
- I ended up grabbing a small Goku figure and a Vegeta keychain. Classic.
After Akihabara, i was searching special events or exhibitions. But found nothing, i went to Nakano Broadway.
It is a famous place for anime items. I tried to search and find the limited items in there.
Finally, I got a few limited figures in there!
Next, I checked the time and realized I needed something. I checked my bag, just my stuff and cameras.

Oh, I forgot eating something! I searched for a restaurant which is Dragon Ball concept or something like that. But unfortunately, I couldn’t find a restaurant. So, I ate Ramen, It was good.
Wrapping Up My Day
So, that was pretty much my “Dragon Ball Tokyo” experience. It wasn’t some super organized tour or anything, just me exploring and seeing what I could find. I think the key is to just wander around, especially in areas like Akihabara and Nakano, and you’re bound to stumble upon some Dragon Ball goodness. It’s more about the hunt, you know? And hey, I got some cool souvenirs and some fun photos, so mission accomplished!
