Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get back in shape, and I figured a boxing stand would be a great way to do it without needing a sparring partner. I decided to go with the “Titan” brand – seemed sturdy enough, you know?
Getting Started
First things first, I cleared out a space in my garage. This thing takes up a bit of room, so make sure you’ve got enough clearance. I also laid down some rubber mats, just to protect the floor and dampen the sound a bit.

Unboxing and Assembly
The whole thing came in a few HUGE boxes. Seriously, be prepared for that. I enlisted the help of my neighbor, Bob, because some of these parts were heavy!
- Base: This was the heaviest part. We lugged it into place and made sure it was centered on the mats.
- Upright Support: This slotted into the base. There were a bunch of bolts to tighten down, so we took turns with the wrench. Teamwork, right?
- Adjustable Arm: This part lets you set the height of the bag. We fiddled with it for a bit to get it right for me.
- Boxing Bag: Finally, we hung the bag itself. It attached with a heavy-duty chain and a carabiner.
My First Workout
After assembling it all to gether,I decided on a first simple workout.
Oh man, I was rusty! I started with some basic jabs and crosses. It felt good to hit something, you know? Got the blood pumping. I threw in some hooks and uppercuts, just experimenting with different combinations.
Making Adjustments
After a few rounds, I realized the bag was swinging a bit too much. So, I went back and tightened some of the bolts on the base. That seemed to do the trick. I also adjusted the height of the bag a couple of times until it felt just right.
Final Touches
To finish things off, I wrapped my hands – safety first! I also put on some workout music to get me motivated. It’s the little things, right?
Overall Impression
So far, so good! It’s definitely a solid piece of equipment. I can tell it’s going to give me a great workout. I’m already feeling it in my arms and shoulders. I plan on using this thing a few times a week. I’ll keep you guys posted on my progress!
