Going the Custom Route
That’s where I got the idea, I mean, make a custom ring. So, I found a few jewelers nearby and started making calls. One place, “Gems & Gold,” sounded promising. The lady on the phone, Sarah, was really helpful. She said they’d done custom rings before, even some for sports teams.
Designing the Ring

- We sketched out some ideas. I wanted it to be substantial, you know, have some weight to it, but not too flashy.
- We talked about materials. I went with a classic gold band, with the option to maybe add some small diamonds or engravings.
- I decided to incorporate the club’s logo, keep it simple and personalized.
The Final Result
It took a few weeks, but man, it was worth the wait. The ring turned out amazing. It’s got the club logo engraved on one side, the year of the tournament on the other, and a really cool golf ball design on top. It’s solid, feels great to wear, and it really looks like a prize worth winning. I was pretty happy to see the final result.
