Man, let me tell you about this “coco boxing” thing I tried out. I saw it online and thought, “Hey, that looks like a fun way to get a workout in.” So, I decided to give it a shot.
Getting Started
First, I gotta find some space. I pushed the coffee table out of the way, rolled up the rug – you know, made sure I wouldn’t trip over anything.

Then, I needed some tunes. Pumped up some music, something with a good beat to keep me going. I just used my phone and some regular speakers I had, nothing fancy.
The Actual “Boxing”
I put on some workout clothes, just a t-shirt and some shorts. Started with some basic stretches, didn’t want to pull a muscle or anything, just to get warm.
- Warming-up :
- Jumped jacks.
- High knees.
Then I started with some basic punches, just jabbing the air. Then I threw in some hooks, uppercuts. I even tried to move around a bit, you know, bob and weave like they do in the movies.
- Combo Practice:
- Jab, cross, hook.
- Jab, jab, uppercut.
The Aftermath
I gotta say, after about 20,30 minutes, I was sweating. It was definitely a workout! And you know what? It was kind of fun, punching the air and moving around. I felt like a total badass, even though I probably looked ridiculous.
I cooled down stretching again my body. And drinking much water to be Hydrated.
I’m thinking I might do this again. It’s a good way to get some exercise without needing any equipment or having to go to a gym. Plus, it’s a pretty good stress reliever, just punching out all that pent-up energy.
