I’ve always been a huge golf fan, and the Wells Fargo Championship is one of those tournaments I just can’t miss. So, this year, I made it my mission to snag some tickets and see the action live in Charlotte. Let me tell you, it was quite the journey, but totally worth it.
First off, I hit up a few different websites to see where I could even get tickets. I checked out the big names like ESPN and Flashscore, but they were mostly just showing the leaderboard and real-time scores. That’s cool and all, but I needed the actual tickets. These websites have given me some information to know that the golfers will go to Charlotte.

Then I remembered seeing something about an “Select Event” option. I stumbled around a few more sites until I found one that had it. Once I clicked on that, I finally saw the ticket information I was looking for. It was a bit of a hunt, I won’t lie.
After I selected the event which is Wells Fargo Championship, I had to choose which days I wanted to go. There were options for single-day passes and some multi-day packages. I thought about it for a minute, comparing the prices and what each one offered, and then I made my choice.
Next up was picking the specific type of ticket. They had general admission, which gets you onto the grounds, and then some fancier options with access to special areas and hospitality tents. I went back and forth on this one for a bit, but in the end, I decided on a simple general admission ticket.
Once I had my tickets picked out, it was time to pay. I entered my payment information and hit that “confirm” button. Boom! Tickets secured. I got a confirmation email right away, and I felt a huge wave of excitement. I was actually going to the Wells Fargo Championship!
- Searched a few sports websites for ticket info.
- Found a website with an “Select Event” option to get the ticket details.
- Selected the days I wanted to attend the tournament.
- Chose the type of ticket I wanted (general admission, in my case).
- Paid for the tickets and got a confirmation email.
Here’s a quick rundown of how it all went down:
It wasn’t the smoothest process, I will admit. There was a lot of clicking around and figuring things out. But, I got it done. Now, I just need to wait for the tournament to start. I’m so pumped to see some of the best golfers in the world compete in person. This is going to be awesome!
If any of you are thinking about going to a golf tournament, just be prepared for a little bit of a ticket hunt. But trust me, the experience is worth it. Nothing beats being there in person and feeling the energy of the crowd.
