Okay, so I got this wild idea to get into boxing. I mean, who doesn’t want to punch things, right? And when you think boxing, you think Mayweather. That guy’s a legend! So, I figured, why not start with the gloves? It’s like, if you’re gonna do it, do it right.
First, I started looking around, trying to figure out what kind of gloves this guy even uses. Turns out, he’s got his own thing, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, which is pretty cool. They’ve got all this gear, but I was laser-focused on the gloves. I found out he often uses Grant gloves, a brand that’s been around since the 90s and is super famous in the boxing world. Those things look serious!
But then, I saw they also have a special line called the “Mayweather Champ Boxing Gloves”. They are USD $229, and those are the ones I really wanted. And the description talked about “advanced wrist support” and “superior performance”. I was sold!
Then I dug a bit deeper. Seems like in his big fight with McGregor, they used 8 oz. gloves. McGregor went with Everlast, another big name, but I’m all about that Mayweather style, so I ignored that part.
Then there was something about Class X (Rainbow) gloves, which are apparently super overpowered, but I’m not even sure what that means. I did see some gloves, like BIG, Bear, and Frostbite, are limited stock. They only make a certain number, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. So, I kind of wanted them!
Anyway, I went for the Mayweather Champ Boxing Gloves. I mean, they’re a bit pricey, but it’s Mayweather, right? The gloves arrived, and man, they look awesome! They have this cool design, and they feel really solid. I tried them on, and they fit great. The wrist support thing is no joke – my wrists felt super secure.
I started hitting the bag with them, and I gotta say, I felt like a champ, even though I’m totally new at this. They really do make a difference. I could feel the power in my punches, and my hands felt protected. It’s like, these gloves are the real deal. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now, and I’m totally hooked. I’m still a beginner, but I’m learning fast, and these gloves make me feel like I can take on anyone.

- Learned a bit about glove sizes and limited editions.
- Bought the Mayweather Champ Boxing Gloves.
- Started training with them and loving it.
So yeah, that’s my story about getting into boxing and geeking out over Mayweather’s gloves. It’s been a blast so far, and I can’t wait to see how far I can go with this. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll even spar with someone!
