Okay, so today I wanted to dive into something different, and I found this game called Pokedle. I’m not really good at playing games, but this one really got me. Basically, it’s a game where you have to guess Pokemon stuff, and it’s kind of based on that Wordle game everyone was playing a while back. I saw it’s a daily game. I guess I can play every day.
What I did
First, I opened the game, I saw it’s got a bunch of different ways to play. There’s this “Classic” mode where you just guess the Pokemon. The first mode is pretty straightforward, just guessing a Pokemon. Then I noticed there was a way to guess based on some Pokedex entry which sounds wild. Also, a mode for guessing from a picture, that’s a silhouette mode.
My Tries
So, I started with the Classic mode. It was pretty tough, but it gave me some clues after each guess. I tried to find today’s answers, I got stuck in guessing for a while. I’m not even sure how many guesses I made.
- First try: I chose a random Pokemon, but it wasn’t even close.
- Second try: I used a hint from the first try to change my choice, still nothing.
- Third try: I finally used a hint to get the Pokemon from generations 1 to 3. I kept at it, trying different Pokemon.
Eventually, after many tries, I got it right! It felt really good to finally crack it.
Other Modes
After getting the hang of the Classic mode, I went and checked out the other ones. The one where you guess from a description, man, that was tough. I mean, you only get to see a little bit of info about the Pokemon, and you gotta figure it out from that. But I saw it’s the generations 1 to 3.
Then there was this silhouette mode. That was kind of fun, trying to guess from just the shape. It’s amazing how you can recognize some Pokemon just from their outline. I also guessed the Card mode.
Wrapping up
All in all, I spent a good chunk of my day playing this Pokedle game. It’s a cool way to test your Pokemon knowledge. I didn’t get all of them right away, but it was fun trying. It is said to be inspired by Wordle and is a daily guessing game. I think I’ll try this again tomorrow and see if I can do better. If you’re into Pokemon, you should definitely give it a shot!
