Alright, let’s talk about them tennis gals, the ones they call… uh… lesbians. You know, the women who like other women. Don’t rightly understand it myself, but hey, to each their own, I always say. It’s their business, not mine.
Them Tennis Gals, They Play Good
Now, I ain’t no expert on tennis. I watch it sometimes on that there TV, flickerin’ and such. But some of these gals, they sure can whack that ball! They run and jump and hit it hard. Strong as oxen, some of them. And some of them, they like other gals. So what? They still play good, don’t they?
I heard tell of this Billie Jean King. Folks say she’s one of the best ever. And she likes other women. Good for her, I reckon. She fought for women to play sports, they tell me. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, no matter who you like. She won a whole bunch of them Grand Slam things. Sounds fancy.
Then there’s this Martina somethin’-or-other. Nav-ra-ti-lo-va, somethin’ like that. Hard to say, them foreign names. Heard she’s another one who likes gals. And another one who’s darn good at tennis. Won a heap of matches, I’m told. Seems like them lesbians, they got some real talent on the court.
- They Play Hard
- They Win Matches
- They Like Who They Like
Nowadays, they say there’s a whole bunch of ’em. More open about it, I guess. This one girl, Dasha somethin’, from Russia. Plays real good too. And them Belgian girls, Alison and Greet. And that older one, Sam from Australia. Seems like there’s a whole lotta them lesbians in tennis now. Or maybe they always been there, just ain’t nobody talked about it so much before.
It Don’t Change Nothin’
Look, I don’t care who these gals go home with at night. If they want to be with another gal, that’s their business. It don’t change how they hit that ball, don’t change how they run on the court, and it sure don’t change how I watch the game. I just wanna see good tennis, and some of these lesbian gals, they sure give it to ya.
It’s like that time I went to the county fair. There was this fella jugglin’ apples, and he had a funny little hat. Folks started whisperin’ about how he lived with another fella in town. But shoot, he was the best darn apple juggler I ever seen! Didn’t matter who he went home to, he could still juggle them apples. Same thing with these tennis gals.

They’re Just People, Playin’ Tennis
So next time you’re watchin’ that tennis on the TV, and they start talkin’ about who’s a lesbian and who ain’t, just remember what I said. It don’t matter a lick. They’re just people, playin’ tennis. Some of ‘em like men, some of ‘em like women, some of ‘em probably like both. Who cares? Just watch the game and enjoy it. And if them lesbian gals play good, well, then cheer for ‘em. They deserve it just like anybody else.
And this Johanna Larsson from Sweden, they say she’s good too. Won all sorts of things. See? It ain’t about who you love, it’s about how you play that game. And these gals, they play it hard, they play it good, and that’s all that matters in the end.
Tennis is tennis, no matter who’s holding that racket. And these lesbian tennis players, well, they are a part of it, a big part of it. So let ’em play, and let’s just enjoy the show.
This ain’t no different than folks liking different kinds of pie. Some like apple, some like cherry, some like somethin’ else altogether. It’s just what they like, it don’t make them better or worse than anybody else. Just like these gals in tennis.
So, whether they like other gals, or fellas, or nobody at all, it don’t make no difference to me. They’re tennis players, plain and simple. And good ones at that.
