Alright, alright, let me tell ya ’bout this WWE Raw Episode 1790, or whatever number they call it. I ain’t good with numbers, ya know, but I watch my wrestlin’. It’s on that… that… USA Network thing, yeah, Monday nights. Always at 8 o’clock, after I finish my supper and clean up the dishes. Don’t wanna miss my stories, even if they’re just a bunch of fellas pretendin’ to beat each other up.
So, this episode, right? It was… well, it was somethin’. They had this fella, CM Punk, I think they called him. Folks were shoutin’ his name like he was the best thing since sliced bread. He was talkin’ and talkin’, and folks were eatin’ it up. I dunno, he seemed alright, kinda loud though. Reminds me of that rooster we had last year, always crowin’ about somethin’ or other.
Then there was this other guy… Wyatt… somethin’. Wyatt Sicks, yeah, that’s it. Creepy lookin’ fella, like he crawled out from under a rock. He and his bunch, they were doin’ some strange stuff. Not like the old days, ya know? Back then, it was just good ol’ fashioned wrestlin’. Now they got all this… theatrics. Like a spooky movie or somethin’. But hey, as long as they’re smackin’ each other around, I ain’t complainin’.
And wouldn’t ya know it, there was this Xavier Woods fella. He got all riled up after losin’ a match. Yellin’ and screamin’ at his friends, Kofi somethin’-somethin’ and those other fellas. Boy, he was madder than a wet hen. Reminded me of that time my Billy lost his prize-winning pig at the county fair. He kicked a fence post so hard, he limped for a week. These fellas, though, they just keep on wrestlin’.
They said it’s on Peacock too, whatever that is. Sounds like a fancy bird. I stick to my USA Network, it’s easy enough for an old gal like me to figure out. My grandson, he tried to show me how to watch it on that… internet thingy. Too much clickin’ and tappin’ for me. I just wanna sit down with my cup of tea and watch some good ol’ fashioned wrestlin’ without all the fuss.
- They said it’s on every Monday at 8 pm Eastern Time. That’s 7 pm for us normal folks, I guess. Always gotta make things complicated, those city folk.
- And get this, they’re even gonna be in Saudi Arabia sometime. Can you believe it? Wrestlin’ in the desert. Makes ya wonder if they’ll be wearin’ those fancy robes instead of their wrestlin’ tights.
- Oh, and they’re changing channels or something next year. Something about Netflix. I don’t know nothing about that. My old TV might not even work with it!
They talk about all sorts of stuff on this show, you know. Championships and rivalries and who’s the best. It’s like a soap opera, but with more muscles and less cryin’. Sometimes I can’t keep up with who’s fightin’ who or why, but I still enjoy it. It’s somethin’ to watch when the chores are done and the house is quiet. Beats starin’ at the walls, that’s for sure.
And this Raw show, they say it’s been on for years and years. Since 1993! Lordy, that’s a long time. I was probably still milkin’ cows and tendin’ to the chickens back then. Time sure does fly, don’t it? They even had some special show a while back, celebratin’ 25 years. That’s a lot of wrestlin’. Makes ya wonder how many bumps and bruises those fellas have taken over the years.
So, yeah, this Episode 1790… it was alright. Not the best, not the worst. Just another night of wrestlin’ on my TV. Some fellas yellin’, some fellas fightin’, and me sittin’ here watchin’ it all unfold. It ain’t always easy to understand, what with all the fancy talk and the complicated storylines, but it’s entertainin’. And sometimes, that’s all a body needs after a long day. A little bit of noise, a little bit of action, and a whole lotta pretend fightin’. That’s my kinda evenin’.
And listen, I’m tellin’ ya, these wrestlers, they put on a good show. They might be pretendin’, but they’re workin’ hard. Sweatin’ and bleedin’ and flyin’ all over the place. It ain’t easy, I tell ya. So next Monday, you know where I’ll be. Right here, in front of my TV, watchin’ them fellas do their thing. It’s my little piece of excitement, and I ain’t givin’ it up for nothin’.
