Alright, so you wanna know about the worst NFL records to ever make the playoffs, huh? Well, gather ’round, and I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t always the prettiest teams that get in, lemme tell ya.
Now, I heard tell of some teams, they barely squeaked in. Like them Cleveland Browns, they got in with a .500 record once. Can you believe that? Half wins, half losses, and they still got in! Losing your first game, well, that ain’t nothin’ to be proud of, but at least you made it to the dance, I guess.
I heard tell that the Seahawks deal in 2010 was a real oddity. Apparently, all four teams in their division, the NFC West, they all had losing records that year. So, somebody had to win the division, even if they weren’t all that good. That’s like pickin’ the best of the worst apples, ain’t it?
Folks say coming back from a 0-4 start is nigh impossible, but there was this team, Washington in 2020, they started 2-7 and somehow made the playoffs. That’s like climbin’ a greased pole, I tell ya. Must’ve had some kinda luck, or maybe them other teams were just worse.
