Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this “lucky energy tennis coach” thing, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but I’ll make it plain as day, like we talk back home.
So, first off, this “lucky energy,” I reckon it ain’t about finding a four-leaf clover or rubbing a rabbit’s foot before a tennis match. Nah, it’s more like… like when you eat a good breakfast and feel strong, ya know? Like you can run all day and not get tired. This fella, Richard Laver, he started this “Lucky Energy” drink company. Sounds like he went through some tough times and wanted folks to keep goin’, no matter what. Good for him, I say. We all need a little somethin’ to keep us goin’ sometimes.
Now, this drink, it ain’t like the pop we used to get at the store. They say it’s “better-for-you.” What that means, I don’t rightly know. Maybe it’s got less sugar or somethin’. Anyways, this company, they got a bunch of money now, more than 11 million dollars! That’s a lot of money, more than I ever seen in my life. They gonna use it to make more of this drink, I guess. And they got this fancy “Series A funding round” thing. Sounds like city folk talk to me, but if it helps them sell more drink, good on ’em.
Okay, now about the tennis part. There’s this girl, Jessica Pegula. She’s a real good tennis player, they say. She plays in this big tournament, the US Open. And she finally won somethin’ big, after tryin’ seven times! See, that’s where the “lucky seven” comes in. Some folks say seven is a lucky number. Maybe it is, maybe it ain’t. But she kept tryin’ and tryin’, and that’s what matters. Like my grandma used to say, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” Grandma was a smart woman.
So, what’s a tennis coach gotta do with all this? Well, these tennis players, they need someone to help them get better, right? Like a teacher, but for tennis. They gotta learn how to hit the ball, how to run fast, how to think smart on the court. There’s this coach, Russell, he’s coached a bunch of these tennis players, Frances Tiafoe, Ryan Harrison, Sam Querrey, Taylor Fritz… all them fellas. He helps them be the best they can be.
- He teaches ’em how to hit the ball hard.
- He teaches ’em how to run fast and not get tired.
- He teaches ’em how to think smart, like where to hit the ball so the other person can’t get it.
Now, I don’t know if this Russell fella uses “Lucky Energy” drinks or not, but I reckon he tells his players to keep tryin’, just like Richard Laver with his company and Jessica Pegula with her tennis. See, it all connects, kinda like a quilt. Each piece is different, but they all go together to make somethin’ whole.
So, this “lucky energy tennis coach” thing, it’s not just about luck. It’s about workin’ hard, keepin’ goin’, and havin’ someone to help you along the way. It’s about that grit, that somethin’ inside ya that says, “I ain’t givin’ up.” And that’s somethin’ we all can use, whether we’re playin’ tennis, startin’ a company, or just tryin’ to get through the day.
And that’s all I gotta say ’bout that. It’s plain as day, if you ask me.
