Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this Jarquez Hunter fella, the football player. Folks keep jabberin’ about him and the NFL draft, so let’s get to the bottom of it, plain and simple like.

Now, this boy, Jarquez, he plays running back for Auburn. Auburn, that’s a college down south, if you didn’t know. They got them big ol’ football players there, strong as oxen. And Jarquez, he’s one of ’em.
See, last year, he did pretty good. Scored him seven touchdowns, ran for near ’bout 700 yards. That’s a lot of runnin’, let me tell ya. He even finished strong, runnin’ over 100 yards in the last three games. That’s what they call “momentum,” I reckon.
- Touchdowns: 7
- Yards: 673
- Strong finish: 100+ yards in final three games
Folks started talkin’ ’bout him goin’ to the NFL, that professional football league. You know, the big show, where they pay them boys a whole heap of money. But Jarquez, he decided to stay at Auburn for another year. Said he wants to get better, make his draft stock go up. Smart boy, I say. No need to rush things if you ain’t ready.
So now, everyone’s watchin’ him, seein’ how he’ll do this year. They got these things called “mock drafts,” where folks guess which team gonna pick which player. And they got Jarquez on them lists, sayin’ he might get picked in the 2025 draft. That’s next year, for those of you keepin’ track.
They also got this “Big Board” thing. It’s like a giant list of all the college players, and they rank ’em based on how good they are. PFF, whatever that is, they make one of them boards. And I bet Jarquez is on there somewhere, though I ain’t seen it myself.

And get this, this boy is STRONG. I heard tell he can bench press 440 pounds! 440 pounds! That’s like liftin’ two grown men at the same time! No wonder he’s good at runnin’ with that football. Nobody wanna get in his way, that’s for sure.
Now, they say Travis Hunter, another fella with the same last name, but from Colorado, he’s gonna be a top pick in that 2025 draft. Two Hunters in the NFL? What are the odds of that? Must be somethin’ in that Hunter name, I guess.
Anyway, this Jarquez, he’s got a lot of pressure on him now. Everyone’s expectin’ big things. But if he keeps workin’ hard, stayin’ outta trouble, and runnin’ that football like he knows how, he’ll do just fine. He’ll get his chance to play in the NFL, make some money, and make his mama proud. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it?
So, keep an eye on this Jarquez Hunter fella. He’s one to watch, that’s for sure. And come next year’s draft, we’ll see where he ends up. Maybe he’ll be playin’ for your favorite team. You never know.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talkin’ about football makes a body hungry.
