Well now, if you’re lookin’ to know about KJ Jefferson and his chances in the NFL Draft, let me tell you somethin’. This young fella, he’s got all the size you’d want in a quarterback. They say he’s 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 247 pounds. Big, strong, and built to take a hit, that’s what you need when you’re lookin’ at a future NFL quarterback. Ain’t nobody gonna mess with him too easily on the field.

But, you see, even though he’s got the size and the strength, there’s still some questions around his game. Now, KJ Jefferson played for the Arkansas Razorbacks, and I reckon he’s done his bit out there. He’s had some real good games, runnin’ for touchdowns and throwin’ them too. Just like when he took off runnin’ and scored two touchdowns and then passed for another one in a big win against Auburn. That’s the kind of thing that makes folks pay attention to you, ya know? But, there’s always folks who think maybe he ain’t got what it takes to make it in the NFL.
They say, in the draft, folks are lookin’ for the kind of quarterback who can handle the pressure and make big throws when it counts. KJ Jefferson, well, he’s got some things to prove. Now, you look at his arm, they say it’s strong. He’s got that rocket arm, like they say in football talk. But sometimes, even with a strong arm, it don’t always work out the way you want. He’s got to show he can do it all the time, not just in flashes. Some scouts say he’s a bit raw, and he’s gotta clean up his footwork and his decision-makin’. Ain’t no room for messin’ up when you’re in the NFL.
Now, the draft folks, they’re talkin’ about KJ possibly goin’ in the sixth or seventh round in 2025, but some even say he might not get drafted at all. That don’t mean he’s done, though. It just means he might have to fight a bit harder. They say, with his size and the things he can do, he could still make it onto a practice squad. You know, like a backup to start with. Sometimes, that’s how it goes. Not everybody gets drafted in the first round, and some of the best players weren’t drafted high up at all. Look at some of those late-round picks who’ve made a name for themselves. KJ’s got potential, but it’s up to him to prove it.
If you’ve been watchin’ his career at Arkansas, you’d know he’s had some ups and downs. Sure, he’s looked mighty good some days, but other days, well, maybe not so much. He’s gotta be more consistent, and that’s what the NFL scouts are gonna be lookin’ for. Ain’t no room for bein’ hot and cold when you’re playin’ at the highest level. But if he keeps workin’ at it, keeps on with that determination, maybe one day he’ll prove them all wrong.
So, folks are waitin’ to see what happens with KJ Jefferson in the draft. Maybe he’ll get drafted, maybe he won’t. But no matter what happens, one thing’s for sure—he ain’t gonna stop tryin’ to make it. That’s the kind of spirit you need in football, and that’s the kind of spirit KJ’s got.
